Our success and reputation at Tower Demolition is built not only on the accrued knowledge and expertise of our staff but also on the strength of our relationships with stakeholders.

During the feasibility and pre­-commencement stage of each project, our experienced professionals engage with the client and on-site team to help develop the scope, methodology, programme and early works procurement. We employ over 25 managerial, administrative and site-based staff to direct and support our operatives at site during the delivery of the contracted works.

All our staff, from site-based to senior management, undergo regular training and refresher courses using NDTG/ CSCS/ CPCS/CCDO and all other relevant training providers. This enables Tower to carry out the most complex of demolition projects, from a major strip out to multi-storey demolition contracts.

Our continuous investment in training is an essential component in the personal and professional development of our workforce. Via a programmed Construction Skills Training Plan and in close cooperation with the CITB­ Construction Skills/ Sector Skills Council, we are committed to the achievement of the following training objectives:

Ian Turner
Ian TurnerManaging Director
As Managing Director of Tower Demolition, Ian is responsible for all business and projects, implementing company policy and ensuring that company strategy is geared towards growth, profits and increasing shareholder return. He heads the Board of Directors and represents Tower at public events. With over 32 years of experience in the demolition and waste industry, his extensive technical knowledge ensures every client’s project expectations are met, however complex. He has been involved in the demolition of a wide range of structures, from commercial offices, hotels, high-rise residential towers and shopping centres through to houses, chimney stacks, factory buildings, warehouses and industrial plants.
James Bibbey
James BibbeyHealth & Safety Director
James is a CPD founding director of Tower Demolition, with over 17 years’ experience of commercial and project management in the UK construction and demolition industries. His knowledge and expertise embrace the full spectrum of demolition services, conducting CPD seminars in the UK. In his role as Health & Safety director he is responsible for protecting the well-being of employees, and members of the public affected by Tower’s activities, he integrates Health & Safety management with company policies and business decisions with effective upward and downward communication providing high quality training and promoting the concept of safe and healthy conditions for all.
John Egan
John EganCommercial Director
Commercial Director, John, is a professionally-trained quantity surveyor with 15 years’ experience in both the Irish and UK construction and demolition industries. He’s responsible for leading the organisation through the commercial landscape, maintaining a consistent trajectory of growth. He oversees services development, identifies new market opportunities while determining the optimal pricing to balance profit with customer/client satisfaction, and directs our marketing operations. John has been with Tower Demolition from its inception. His current role sees him involved with projects from the early tendering stages through to agreeing contractual obligations and delivery, always endeavouring to offer clients the best and most cost-effective solutions.
Tony Lister
Tony ListerContracts Director
As Tower Demolition’s Contracts Director, Tony has a proven track record in the delivery of complex, highly prestigious projects from both employer and contractor perspectives, from tender to award and delivery. He appreciates every stakeholder’s aspirations, understanding the specifics of the project procurement and delivery process. Drawing on his extensive experience, as the contract administrator’s point of contact, Tony maintains effective client liaison and healthy employer relations whilst providing the Tower team with project-specific pre-and post-contract management. Particular responsibilities include tender compliance management, vetting and approving third party agreements, the appointment of specialist subcontractors and designers, and contract award due diligence.
Robert Unwin
Robert UnwinContracts Manager
Robert has over 28 years’ experience in the demolition industry having worked his way up from labourer, burner and plant operator through to site supervisor and project / contracts manager. He oversees projects from start to completion, ensuring that work is completed according to the terms of the contract, safely, on time and meeting the budget and sustainability targets. Robert is responsible for supporting site-based teams, leading, developing and advising individuals in order to build a high-performing workforce. Other aspects of his work are cost-control and financial reporting, as well as managing client relationships and expectations to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
Mike Kennedy-Diggins
Mike Kennedy-DigginsProject Manager
Mike is a demolition professional with over 30 years of commercial and residential project management, site supervision and operations experience in the UK construction industry. His knowledge and expertise embrace not only the full spectrum of demolition activities, including hard and soft interior stripping, top down demolition, high reach demolition, cut and carve, façade retention, temporary works, asbestos and hazardous waste removal, concrete breaking and crushing, site remediation and recycling, but also ground works, civils (including the infrastructure of transport networks), basements & piling. With each project, he reviews progress in line with contract objectives, devising and implementing any required corrective action.
Ian Peermamode
Ian PeermamodeProject Manager
A demolition professional with over 20 years of project management, site management, site supervision and operations experience in the UK construction industry, Ian’s knowledge and expertise embraces the full spectrum of demolition activities, and includes particular responsibility for Health & Safety and risk management to ensure that all projects comply with current H&S and environmental legislation. Ian produces contract programmes of works from construction information, making sure that delivery is on time and within budget forecasted costs. He manages the productivity of the site team, maintains a professional working relationship with clients, and prepares and delivers progress reports for external client meetings.

Tower Demolition’s team operates at the forefront of sustainable waste management. We make a major contribution to sustainability and regeneration initiatives throughout the industry by reducing the amount of demolition waste going to landfill and maximising the percentage of materials recycled from demolition.

Our Team has worked on numerous complex projects in London and the South East for private and public sector clients covering all market sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, public buildings, residential, retail, scientific, sport and leisure.

Operating principally throughout London, the Home Counties and the South of England, our head office is located in central London.

On each of our projects, we develop operation-specific method statements and comprehensive risk assessments.

Each project is personally assessed by our surveyors and project management team guaranteeing that the correct method and equipment is used throughout.
